My name is Linda Koyamatsu and I look forward to partnering with you in providing your child with a Christ-honoring education.

I grew up in Pennsylvania and received my undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University.  Upon graduation, I hopped into my car and made my way to California, which I have called home ever since.   It was here I obtained my Master of Education degree and began a deeply rewarding career in teaching, primarily in the middle school years.

God has blessed me with a lovely family, with one daughter in college, one in high school, and the caboose of the family in middle school.  When my two older daughters attended AVCS, my husband coached many sports.  He continues to coach in various capacities at the high school level.  Each summer we toss our sleeping bags in the back of the minivan, along with coolers packed with far more food than any one family should consume in four days, and head to Mammoth Lakes to tent camp.  I am one happy, freezing camper on that annual vacation.

The gift of being little is a gift that does not last, so cherish these years with your children.  Together we will guide them to become respectful, responsible life-long learners who understand that the chief aim of man is to glorify God with the gifts and talents He has given them. In Him they will find peace and purpose that will carry them into their futures long after we are gone.

“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory both now and forever.”—2 Peter 3:18
