I am truly humbled and honored to be a part of the AVCS family. As a middle school physical education teacher, I am filled with excitement and enthusiasm for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of my students.

My journey in education began at Azusa Pacific University, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. During my time at APU, I was fortunate to earn both my single-subject teaching credential and Masters in physical education. The field of physical education has always held a special place in my heart, and I am grateful to have the chance to share my passion with young minds.

Over the past eight years, I have been dedicated to the field of education. I started my teaching career in the Irvine Unified School District, where I taught elementary PE. Later, I moved to the Santa Ana School District to teach Junior High PE. It brings me immense joy to teach the younger generation valuable skills that they can carry with them throughout their lives.

On a personal note, I am incredibly blessed to be married to my wonderful and beautiful wife, Morgan Knight. Morgan teaches middle school life science as we share the passion and joy of teaching the younger generation. When I’m not in the classroom, you can often find me pursuing my hobbies and passions. I am an avid mountain biker and surfer, and I have a deep love for baseball.
