I am blessed to be the school librarian here at AVCS.

This is my seventh year at AVCS and I look forward to having the students explore the library and learn how to use a library. I hope they will enjoy their library time and gain a love for books and reading that will lead to a lifelong love of learning.

I have lived in Southern California for over 36 years. I have also lived in Canada, Iowa and Virginia. I have been married to my husband Mike for over 25 years! We have two children. Our son Christopher is 19 and a second year student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Our daughter Kathleen is a graduate of AVCS. She is 16 and a junior at Dana Hills High School. She adjusted easily to the large campus and enjoys her classes and continues to make new friends.

I enjoy traveling. My family looks forward to the summer road trips we take each year. I love animals. Cats are my favorite pet. I enjoy having hummingbirds & orioles come to the feeders in my yard. I also enjoy photography, art, flowers, nature and reading!
