Getting to know Mr. Bruce

Hello and welcome families and friends. My name is Scott Bruce and I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to teach Physical Education to your students here at Aliso Viejo Christian School. This is my tenth year teaching, my fifth here at AVCS. Along with teaching P.E., I am also the Athletic Director at the school.

I was born and raised here in Southern California. After graduating from Irvine High School, I attended Orange Coast Community College and San Diego State University where I earned my B.S. Degree in Psychology. Missing my family and friends, I moved back to the O.C. to continue my education at National University. Along with teaching here, I am also a coach and one of the Directors for the SCVC Los Cab Volleyball Club.

I have been married to my loving wife Kristan for ten years and we have been blessed with two sets of twins. Lexie and Matthew are eight years old and Ryan and Jackson are five. I am so blessed to have all four with me here attending AVCS. It is extremely busy, but they bring an amazing amount of joy to my life. In my free time I enjoy volleyball, skiing, camping and going to the beach with my family and friends.
