Getting to know Mrs. Perry

Hello! Welcome to my "About Me" page. I hope this will allow you and your child to get to know me better.

This is my fourth year teaching at AVCS. I taught 4th grade for eight years at another private christian school and five years of 6th grade in the Capistrano Unified School District. This is my second career and before getting my teaching credential I worked in hospital management. I love working with children and look forward to a wonderful year working with you and your child.

I look forward to working with each and every child at AVCS through a Bible based curriculum that will help them grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. The focus will be on life application of the Bible; although it was written many years ago it is still a relevant, living tool to be used today.

Born: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Grew up: In Michigan and moved to California after college.

College: Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications from Eastern Michigan University. California teaching credential from Concordia College in Irvine.

Family: My husband and I have three beautiful children, and two dogs.

Hobbies: I enjoy reading, exercising and playing games with my children.

Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
