Getting to know Mrs. Nilsson
Blessings to you, and welcome to Mrs. Nilsson’s web page. This will be my sixth year and Aliso Viejo Christian School. I taught 2nd grade for 2 years and 3rd grade for 3 years. Before AVCS, I taught 1st grade in La Habra for 9 years. This year, the Lord has steered me into an exciting, new position. I have the opportunity to work with students, of all levels, in reading. Some of the programs I will be doing are Accelerated Reader, Read Naturally and SRA.
I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a BA in Liberal Arts. I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from PLNU.
I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and three loving boys: an 8th grader and 5th grade twins who attend AVCS. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, going to church and skiing.
My favorite Bible verse is:

God has truly blessed me and has strengthened my desire to teach at Aliso Viejo Christian School.
