Getting to know Mrs. Gerhard

Welcome back to AVCS and the 2009-2010 school year! My name is Michele Gerhard and this is my fourth year here at AVCS. I attended Long Beach State where I earned a full tennis scholarship along with my BA in Liberal Studies with a minor in Physical Health, Science, and Life Management. I also earned my teaching credential there.

My husband Adam, and I will be celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary in October. Our daughter, Presley Marie Gerhard turned two on May 25, 2007. She is an absolute gift from God and the light of our lives! There are some pictures of her posted on this page so you can see our precious gift! We also have a cat named Salem who loves to help us take care of Presley!

I will leave you with my favorite Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.” I say these words each morning and night as I thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon my life everyday.
