Getting to know Mrs. Karr

My name is Leann Karr and I have the honor and privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal for Aliso Viejo Christian School. This year marks the beginning of my 28th year in the field of education and my 8th year with this wonderful ministry. PRAISE THE LORD!

I received my Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1981. In 1999 I received my first Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Creative Arts in Learning. In 2007 I received another Master's Degree – this time in Educational Administration from Concordia University, Irvine.

On a personal note, I have a wonderful husband who has partnered with me in raising 3 children. Our oldest daughter is completing her Master’s degree in Social Work. Our second daughter and her husband live in the area. She works as a group fitness instructor at Sempre Fit - Camp Pendleton. Our son and our son-in-law are United States Marines stationed out of Camp Pendleton. I have also been blessed with an adorable grandson who brings joy and excitement to my life!

My passions outside of school include exercising, reading, and working in my yard. My favorite day of the week is "Chapel Day" and my favorite color is green!
