Getting to know Mrs. Bedley
Hello everyone and welcome to my webpage! I have been teaching at AVCS since February 2006. I first taught first grade for half a year, and have been teaching second grade ever since, and I love second grade! My experience has been warm and wonderful at AVCS and I am looking forward to another exciting year.
I grew up in Northern California, about 45 minutes East of San Francisco. I loved school as a child and always knew I would become a teacher. I have loving and supportive parents who live here Orange County. My siblings include two brothers and a sister. I moved to Southern California to attend a Christian university after high school. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies. I then continued my education and completed my teaching credential at Azusa Pacific University as well.
I was married to my husband Scott in 2006, a Southern California native, who is also a teacher. We are members and attend Saddleback Church. One of my favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plan I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
