Getting to know Mrs. Winters

Hello… My name is Kim Winters and this is my 7th year working at AVCS. I love working here and can’t imagine myself anywhere else!

My husband Bryan and I have been married for 20 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters, 2 of which are here at AVCS. Our oldest daughter Lauren started here in 1999, the year that AVCS opened. She is now a Junior at Laguna Hills High School. Our middle daughter Rachael is in 8th grade and our youngest daughter, Alexa is in 6th grade.

I love relaxing in our pool during the summer and reading as much as I can. When it isn’t too hot, I like to garden. In the fall I love going to Laguna Hills High School football games. I LOVE Starbucks and Diet Coke and going out to dinner whenever I can.

I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to be a part of this wonderful ministry and to have the opportunity to work where my children go to school. It is a joy to watch the students “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ". The students who will commence this year were only in 2nd grade the year I started working here so I truly have been able to watch them grow. I pray that you will feel the presence of Jesus Christ in all that we do.
