Getting to know Mrs. Peterson

God is so good!  My name is Kalyn Peterson and I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching Middle School Bible at AVCS for a third year.  My family and I live here in Aliso Viejo and attend Compass Bible Church.  Jeff and I have two boys who both attend AVCS.  Caleb is in second grade and Corey is in first grade.  Prior to AVCS, I taught in the Capistrano Unified School District.  It is a blessing to be teaching at a Christian school where I have the freedom to teach God’s Word and share His wonders with Middle School kids.  I have so many favorite passages in the Bible that challenge and encourage me.  Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”  Good reminder for all of us right? J It is going to be a great year!!
