CHAPEL
Join us this Friday for our Fruit of the Spirit chapels, focusing on gentleness. It is always so neat to hear how the Holy Spirit is working in the lives of our kids. For our next 2 chapel offerings, we are asking our students to give new pencils for children in Africa. For more information on this project you can go to www.thepencilproject.com. The children will be culminating this project on Valentine's Day in their classrooms.
2012-2013 REGISTRATION
Our current school families have until February 7th (that's ONE MORE WEEK) to secure your spot for the 2012-2013 school year. We do have several families on a waiting list and they will be able to register their children beginning February 8th! If you know you plan on coming back and have yet to turn in your paperwork, PLEASE talk to Kim ASAP and let her know your situation.
BOOK FAIR IS COMING!
The book fair is coming soon and volunteers are STILL needed! Thank you to all that have already volunteered. The book fair is scheduled for the week of February 6th. We still need help with cashier & customer assistance especially after school on Monday from 3-4:30, Tuesday –Friday from 2-4. Thank you! AFTER SCHOOL OPPORUNITIES

***2012 Track & Field begins Wednesday, February 15th, for 1st through 8th grades! Join us for all the fun!
***Session 2 of Choir begins Monday, Feb. 13. Registration for new members as well as re-registration for current choir members is due by Friday, February 10. Session 2 goes from
Feb. 13-June 11 and is $55.
USED UNIFORM SALE:
Thank you to the amazing team of helpers who made our last Used Uniform Sale a huge success: Susan Smith, Jill Lewis, Krisha Hartmann, Carmen Liu, Cathy Lazarus, Carine Firouzpour, Tatum Norman, Sara Bechtel, Michele McIntosh, Yetta LeGrande, Traci Wilder, Karen O'Mara, Thea Bien, Shannon Brack, Stacy Higashi, and of course Mark Pascoe! We made $1,879 which brings us to approx. $5,000 for the first two sales of the year combined! We are dedicating our profit this time to the sound system in Building C.

STUDENT COUNCIL SPONSORED ANNUAL VARIETY SHOW!!!
The variety Show will be held on Friday, February 24th from 6:30-8:30pm. Bring your beach chairs and join us for a fun family night of entertainment at our concert in the park (MPR). Tickets will go on sale soon!

Every Sunday Morning: Worship at 9:30 am (Children's Sunday School and Nursery also offered), Bible Study (2 Corinthians) at 10:45 am
Wednesday Family Fellowship Nights at AV continue for Children, Youth and Adults. Dinner is served at 5:30 pm ($5 person or $15 family), and the children's ministry, youth group and adult classes are held from 6:15-7:30 pm. Our current adult Bible study is called,"Max on Life"…answers and insights to your most important questions. This informal, conversational course is based on God's Word and on writings by popular Christian author, Max Lucado. This week's theme, for Wed., Feb. 1 is "Help," What is the power that God brings to our lives? What sort of help does He give?
