Getting to know Ms. Giordano

Hello! My name is Cheryl Giordano. I teach second grade at AVCS. It is my seventh year at this school. I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I grew up in Ithaca, New York. I especially enjoy literature and the theater. I am an avid reader.

It is pure pleasure to teach in a godly environment where the name of Jesus is freely spoken and His example is glorified. My classroom theme this year is "butterflies." I truly want the children to understand and experience 2 Cor. 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation..." So let us together create a nurturing environment in which the children can grow in God's grace.
