Welcome to a new school year at LCC Preschool. This summer we’ve been busy making improvements and preparing the school for a wonderful year with your children. I pray the Lord will bless our partnership in teaching, nurturing, and loving your child in the name of Jesus Christ! School will begin on Mon., Sept. 13, or Tues., Sept. 14 (see the First Day Information sheet for specific details). Please carefully read the information in this newsletter so you will know what to expect the first day and how you can help prepare your child. We look forward to seeing you soon; and we pledge to you our prayers, love, and support as we grow together this year in the warmth and love of the Son, Jesus Christ!

Opportunities

There are many opportunities to come to know the Lord or grow in your relationship with Him here at L.C.C. If you don’t have a church of your own, or if you have a church but something here looks interesting, we hope and pray you will feel welcome to join in any ministry or program.

The First Day of Preschool

Please refer to the enclosed chart highlighting your child's teacher's name, start date, time, etc. One or both parents are asked to attend the Orientation Day. For the first forty minutes everyone meets in the classroom. For the remaining time, parents will attend an orientation, while the children remain in class to get acquainted. To make this first day special for your preschool child, we'll have a nursery for any siblings. Call 581-8115 to reserve a place in the nursery for your other children.

What is P.S.E.O.?

Our Psalm Seventy-Eight Organization for parents is based on Psalm 78:5-7. ”Our Lord commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know... Then they would put their trust in God...” Want to help as a Room Parent, with the yearbook, outreach to other parents in Christ's name, etc.? Come to our first P.S.E.O. meeting on Friday, Sept. 24, at 10am.

Tuition Payments

Your first installment was due on June 1, 2010. Your next payment will be due on the first day of class. Tuition will be due on the 5th of each month through May, 2011. You will receive a statement in your file on the first day of classes and each month thereafter as a reminder. If you have any questions, please call Cynthia in the office at 581-8115.

**These forms are required before school begins. Any other missing forms will be in your file on the first day of class. If you are missing the Getting Acquainted or Identification/ Emergency Forms, I have enclosed them. Please complete and return to the preschool office as soon as possible.

First Day Information

Please note the information highlighted below which indicates your child's teacher, class, starting date, time, and class location. Please note the shortened schedule for the first day (9/13 or 9/14). The first full day of all classes will be on Wednesday, Sept. 15, or Thursday, Sept. 16, - morning classes will meet from 9-11:30am and the afternoon classes from 12:30-3:00pm.
