Getting to know Mrs. Hand

Dear Class,

I hope and pray you have enjoyed all or parts of your summer vacation so far.

If you remember from Bible, we talked about setting aside for yourself  everyday time to be with God (to talk to & listen to Him and read the Bible). I have tried to keep my 7:30 a.m. time. Sometimes I sleep in so the time becomes a little later. I want to remember to thank God every morning for the day before it begins and to ask Him to use me for His kingdom. I continue to pray the same for all of you. I pray that you have been and will continue to be used by God this summer to reach out to others by sharing about Jesus through your words and actions.

I have enjoyed all the gifts from the last day of school. I have been to the mall and have bought many articles of clothing with the mall Visa card. I have also enjoyed the personalized stationary, the plant food sticks, the Dodger pencils, the See’s Candy with nuts (which was eaten immediately), the See’s Candy gift certificate, and the Buttermilk ranch dressing base. I appreciate all the gifts and lovely cards you gave me the last day of school and throughout the school year. Also, thank you, again, to everyone who helped our 4th grade class in any way!

So school begins in a month, which means we all have one more month left of summer vacation. I have been reading some good books and would love to hear about the books, in addition to the Bible, that you have been reading. I hope to continue to see many of you during the month of August and look forward to seeing you all the first week back at school. I will continue to pray for all of you and your families this month.
