This summer has been filled with so many great opportunities for our youth group students to connect with God and connect with each other. Summer provides so much space to develop relationships and plug into the life of the youth group. I have truly enjoyed getting to know many of the incoming 6th graders, and I look forward to them being a part of the youth group for several years to come. If you are an incoming 6th grader and have not connected yet below is a list of youth group activities you can participate in as the school year begins.
• Beach Day-August 17th and 24th. We meet at the top of hill at Salt Creek Beach at 11am. Join us for fun and fellowship!
• Back to School Outreach-September 18th. For the second year in a row we are hosting an outreach event at the Aliso Viejo campus with a rock climbing wall, bungee run, music and much more. This is a great event to invite friends and introduce them to the church and youth group.
I hope your summer has truly been restful and has provided space for your family to connect. As we approach a new school year and all that entails I encourage you to stay plugged into church and youth group.
