Children's Ministries Director - Kim Butz
Kim Butz is the Director of Children’s Ministries at Lutheran Church of the Cross. She and her husband Carl are graduates of Christ College Irvine (now Concordia University). Kim has been in church ministry as a Director of Christian Education for 14 years both here in Southern California and the Chicago area working primarily in the areas of children and youth ministry. Kim and Carl have been married almost 17 years and have 2 children, KC (16) and David (14) both students at Crean Lutheran South High School. Kim and her family enjoy watching movies, working on craft projects and spending time together.
It is exciting to watch as Lutheran Church of the Cross, Children’s Ministries, LCC Preschool, and AVCS all partner together with parents in the faith development of children, together we share in the planting of seeds of faith into the heart of every child. There is nothing more exciting than to watch a child discover the Love of God, and then to watch them put that Love into action and service.
